You can create compliex hierarchies of account ownership organizational
structures with the Parent Account field in Accounts. Either edit
an existing account or when creating a new one, link the current
account with another account in the system via the ‘Parent
Account’ picklist. This will associate the chosen account
as the Parent Account of the current Account. Perfect for mapping
out what company owns what company.
